Pocket Mischief is a free rat-care tracker. It does not sell data, run advertising profiles or use third-party analytics.
What is stored
The app stores only the content you choose to add: rat names and profile details, weights, daily observations, care notes, journal entries and rat photos. Please do not enter information about people or upload photographs containing people.
Sign-in information
ChatGPT provides an account identifier so the app can keep households separate. Pocket Mischief converts that identifier into a one-way household key. Your name and email address are not saved in the Pocket Mischief database.
Photos
Selected rat photos are resized in your browser and converted to a fresh image before upload, which removes embedded metadata. Photos are stored privately and can be opened only through the household that uploaded them.
How records are used
Records are used only to operate the tracker, charts, care summaries, journals and sharing cards you request. Pocket Mischief does not post anything to social media on your behalf.
Retention and deletion
Your records remain available until you delete them. Choose Delete my nest in the app footer to permanently remove every profile, entry and uploaded photo linked to your household. Deletion cannot be undone.
A small health reminder
Pocket Mischief records your observations but does not diagnose illness or replace advice from a qualified rat-experienced vet.
